- "Our horse has been with Mandy and Matt at Hazelbank stables for 8 years. He is very contented at Hazelbank Stables, as are myself and my husband. We
love the fact our boy has his own large paddock so there is no chance of any expensive mishaps with other horses, which has happened in the past. Also the American style stabling barn works
wonderfully especially in bad weather. The stable is light, airy and large and he looks out to the other horses opposite and to the side of him as the stable has side grates also. However, all this
aside, it is the owners Matt and Mandy who make for us Hazelbank such a joy, nothing is too much trouble and we know when we go on holiday our horse is very well looked after, again not happened at a
previous yard! They are very vigilent with the fields, fencing and keeping the school in good condition. We are on part-livery, whereby Mandy gives him his feed every morning for me but she helps me
out at short notice if I have to work late which is really appreciated and super to know our horse is very well cared for. Having Mandy and Matt living on site is a real bonus from the pastural side
and also the security with the horses and is much valued by us. Our boy is in the best condition he has been since we have had him, 15 years now and that is a testiment to how happy he is at
Hazelbank". AG

"I’ve been at Hazelbank for nearly 6 years now and it is a very friendly, happy environment for horse and rider alike, professionally run and with right amount of rules and regs – just enough to keep things running smoothly and safely. The paddocks are well managed, stables are light and airy (barn style so the horses can see each other) and the school is well surfaced and there is ample storage space for tack, rugs, hay etc. The hacking around Milland area is varied and includes heathland, woods and farmtracks; really pretty with breath-taking views. There is a lovely community feel to the yard – the kitchen is a handy meeting place for a coffee, snack and chat, and there are outings and events (all optional) such as picnic rides, barbecues, pub rides, fun gymkhanas, etc. I’m really glad I came and my horse is very happy and well looked after here. Dear Matt and Mandy,
I would just like to take the opportunity to say thank you for all of the help and support you have both provided my hores and myself over the past 3 years.
From the start you have been so accommodating in providing us with livery at what was, essentially stressful circumstances, (the attempted theft of our mare at our last yard).
You have both always been on hand, even at the shortest of notice to attend to her and you have provided me with what I deem to be my closest set of friends.
I would also like to extend my thanks for all of the help and hard work during my period of incapacity. It has been so reassuring to know that she is being cared for well whilst I have been unable to come to the yard.
I am due to have a para-equestrian classification in the coming weeks and I hope to be back in the saddle soon.
